This Privacy Policy explains how ManuFactoryIQ (“we,” “us”), based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island, USA, handles information collected through www.manufactoryiq.com (the “Site”). It does not cover software we deliver to customers under a separate agreement; those services are governed by the terms of that agreement.
Information we collect
Information you give us. When you use a contact or demo request form, we collect your name, company, work email address, current ERP system, the improvement area you select and any message you write.
Information collected automatically. Our hosting provider records standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, requested page and time of request) to deliver and secure the Site. We use Vercel Web Analytics, a cookieless analytics service, to count page views and see aggregated information such as referring site, country and device type. It does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors.
How we use information
- To respond to your request, schedule a demo or process review, and follow up about it.
- To operate, secure and improve the Site, including detecting spam and abuse.
- To understand, in aggregate, which pages are useful to visitors.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.
Service providers
We share information only with providers that help us run the Site, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Vercel — website hosting and cookieless analytics.
- Zoho — email delivery of contact form submissions to our team.
- Google Fonts and Tailwind CSS CDN — delivery of fonts and page styling. Your browser connects to these services directly, which shares your IP address with them.
We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
Data retention
We keep contact form submissions for as long as needed to respond and to maintain our business relationship, and then delete them unless a longer period is required by law. Server logs and analytics data are kept for the periods set by our providers.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information you submitted through the Site, or to stop contacting you. To make a request, use our contact form and mention “Privacy request.” We will review each request and respond as required by applicable law.
Privacy laws such as the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation or the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, apply only to organizations and activities that fall within their scope, not simply because a website can be accessed from a particular place. If such a law applies to our processing of your information, we will describe the rights it provides and how to exercise them, and update this policy accordingly.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are transmitted over encrypted connections, and access to submitted information is limited to people who need it to respond. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International visitors
The Site is operated from the United States. If you contact us from outside the United States, your information will be processed in the United States and in the locations where our service providers operate.
Children
The Site is intended for business users and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
